I have cleaned and polished the Gold Filled Waterman Ideal Clip and Cap Band. I have cleaned the inside and outside of the cap with mineral oil. There is absolutely no chips, cracks or repairs to this cap. The gold filled clip does not display any wear or brassing. The cap banding displays just a hint of wear on the right side of the upper cap banding - very minor and insignificant but I point it out for transparency sake.

I would consider this Rose Ripple Waterman Cap to be in Excellent Condition. It certainly is an exceptionally rare Waterman cap to complete your barrel in an extremely hard to find color.
